Welcome to December

1.
Wednesday I was sweating outside in a short-sleeve shirt. Thursday I almost got frostbit.

2.
You know when you get so cold you can't get your core body temperature up and no matter how long you stand in front of the space heater in your room naked even to the point of burning yourself you're still utterly cold and demand that God rid the world of cold weather and make everything temperate? Yeah, me too.

3.
Rip It energy drink: Pretty good. Mad Joker energy drink: Monster rip-off. Monster Khaos energy drink: Brilliant.

4.
Texas needs a win. Bad.

5.
To the left, to the left.

6.
I live in a new place now. It's awesome, mainly because it's close to work. This is a wonderful thing. I just bought a TV, too, and it comes in today, and I'm picking it up tomorrow. Now, all I need is a TV stand...

720 Dunk

Unfortunately, most of you all who read this don't play sports. Oh well, I can only hope that you can respect this ridiculous, 720 dunk. Probably one of the best of all time.

Non-anecdotal entry

I'm pretty sure it's no longer cool to pose with your two girlfriends in your prom dress/black tie apparel in the Charlie's Angels' pose.

* EDIT * One more thing to add. Yes, we get it, you're engaged. Yes, we're glad you're happy. But no one wants to read or hear you talk about it ALL THE TIME. To quote stand-up comedian Aaron Karo:  "Getting married in your twenties is no longer the norm--in fact, those unfortunate souls who do are now outcasts, scorned and shunned, spit on and kicked to the side of the road by the rest of us single folk." No, this is not directed at you.

* EDIT 2 * Hahaha. I didn't read Courtney's comment before I typed that last edit. Now it looks like I totally hate her. But for reals, that comment is not directed at her.

End of an era

Folks, we have finally reached the end of an era. No, I'm not about to whine about people not using Xanga as much anymore even though everyone totally geeks out over it or think it's not cool or too cool or whateveer. No, this is much more significant.

With the onset or Apple's new Movie Downloads, a new version of iTunes was released. And yes, this is when you know the era has ended: They changed their music note icon from GREEN to BLUE. I don't know what I'm going to do. My icon now looks a whole lot like Thunderbird's and Internet Explorer's. I may get confused! See for yourself:

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

Anyway, it's sad to see the old era of green iTunes icons end. One day we'll be telling our children, "I remember when I was young, the iCon for iTunes was GREEN!" This of course will be after Apple has started to develop all sorts of things outside of computers, such as dishwashers and modern coffeemakers.
